Who we are

This website is operated by Casa Rosa Suites (“we”, “us”), a boutique hotel located at Döşemeci Sokak No:6, Karaköy, İstanbul, Türkiye. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@casarosasuites.com. For the purposes of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for this website.

What data we collect

• Analytics data — if you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised usage data such as the pages you visit, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you reached the site. We do not use this to identify you personally.
• Anonymous counts — we keep a running tally of how many times a few buttons are used, such as opening the booking window. All we store is the name of the button and the date, and we add one to a number. No cookie, no identifier, no IP address, no record of your visit. Because nothing links one count to another or to you, this cannot identify anyone and runs whether or not you accept cookies.
• Contact you initiate — if you email or call us, we process the details you share in order to respond to your enquiry.

This website does not host a booking or payment form. Reservations are completed on our booking provider's secure pages (HotelRunner), which has its own privacy terms.

Cookies

We do not set any non-essential cookies until you accept them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for six months, after which we ask again.

• Strictly necessary— we store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every visit. This is required for the site to respect your preference and needs no consent.
• Analytics (optional)— only after you click “Accept” do we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies (e.g. _ga) to measure site usage. If you decline, these are never loaded.

Declining still leaves us the anonymous button counts described above. Those set no cookie and store nothing about you, so there is nothing for you to consent to or opt out of — the number they add to is the same whoever pressed the button.

Legal basis & sharing

We rely on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in responding to you for any enquiry you send us. When analytics is enabled, data is processed by Google LLC, which may transfer it outside Türkiye/the EU; Google applies its own safeguards. We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 and the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@casarosasuites.com.

To withdraw cookie consent, clear this site's data in your browser settings; the consent banner will reappear and you can decline. Declining stops analytics from loading immediately.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
