Who we are

This website is operated by Casa Rosa Suites (“we”, “us”), a boutique hotel located at Döşemeci Sokak No:6, Karaköy, İstanbul, Türkiye. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@casarosasuites.com. For the purposes of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for this website.

What data we collect

• Anonymous counts.We keep running tallies of how many times a page was opened, how many times a few buttons were used (such as opening the booking window), and which kind of site visitors arrived from, grouped into broad buckets like “a search engine” or “a booking site”. All we store is that name and the date, and we add one to a number. No cookie, no identifier, no IP address, no browser fingerprint, no web address you came from, no record of your visit. The tallies are separate numbers: nothing links the page you opened to where you came from, or either of them to you, so they cannot identify anyone.
• Contact you initiate. If you email or call us, we process the details you share in order to respond to your enquiry.

This website does not host a booking or payment form. Reservations are completed on our booking provider's secure pages (HotelRunner), which has its own privacy terms.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, for analytics or anything else, so there is no banner to click and nothing to opt out of. We removed Google Analytics in September 2026 and replaced it with the anonymous counts described above, which store nothing in your browser and nothing about you.

The one exception is the booking step. The room search and the booking window on our rooms page are provided by HotelRunner and load from their servers; they may set their own cookies, and they are necessary for the booking to work at all. Their handling of that data is covered by HotelRunner's own privacy terms.

Legal basis & sharing

The anonymous counts contain no personal data, so no legal basis is required for them and there is no consent for you to give or withdraw. For any enquiry you send us we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you (KVKK Art. 5/2; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and for a reservation on the contract between us (KVKK Art. 5/2-c; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Booking data is processed by HotelRunner as our booking provider. We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 and the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@casarosasuites.com.

There is no analytics consent to withdraw: we set no cookies and hold nothing that is yours to ask about. If you would rather the anonymous counts did not include you, any browser setting or extension that blocks background requests will stop them, and the site works exactly the same without them.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
